Certificate Level 1 Introduction to Accounting and Bookkeeping with MYOB is designed to help participants understand the basics of accounting and bookkeeping using MYOB's platform. Online and Classroom Class sizes are limited to 15 per class. Providing you with more time with your trainer.  

Course Topics

This Introductory course covers:

Week 1. Introduction to MYOB

• Overview  of MYOB's dashboard and features.
• Creating and setting up your MYOB account.
• Navigating  the dashboard and menu options.

Week 2. Setting Up Your Organization

• Adding your company's information and logo.
• Configuring  your organisation's settings.
• Setting up financial periods.

Week 3. Chart  of Accounts

• Understanding  the chart of accounts and its importance.
• Creating and customising accounts for different types of transactions.
• Organising accounts into categories.

Week 4. Bank Reconciliation

• Linking  your bank accounts and credit cards to Xero.
• Reconciling transactions to ensure accurate records.
• Handling discrepancies between MYOB and your bank statements.

Weeks 5. Invoicing  and Sales

• Creating  and sending invoices to customers.
• Managing  sales and tracking payments.
• Handling GST calculations.

Week 6. Purchases and Expenses

• Entering bills and expenses into MYOB.
• Managing  vendor payments and tracking outstanding bills.
• Managing  purchase orders and receipts.
